Abstract

|
In the presence of some stage-misclassification in cervical cancer survival data, an estimation of the survival probability may be misled. If we have those misclassification rates, the survival probability can be corrected, accordingly. This study examines the misclassification effect on the probability by applying the EM algorithm in both cases of over-and under-diagnosis. If we have prior information about classification probability matrix(0), it is possible to derive corrected probability.
